Classes are held at the Universidad de Buenos Aires School of Law and Social Sciences.

PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS

One of the program highlights is that students will live with host Argentinian families during their semester in Buenos Aires. Living with families provides students a great opportunity to learn about daily life and culture in Argentina.

Students will also participate in an excursion during their semester in Argentina. The excursion is to the Andean Northwest to the provinces of Salta and Jujuy. Salta is a city that is punctuated by mountains and canyons and offers the facilities of a large town, but retains the comfortable vibe of a smaller place while preserving more colonial architecture than most places in Argentina. It is the most toured spot in northwest Argentina because it has many historical museums and plenty of outdoor activities. Jujuy is considered to have the most "indigenous" feel of any of Argentina's cities because the Incas settled along the Andes mountains and their influence is very noticeable in this city. The combination of pre-hispanic cultures with the more recent colonization by the Spanish has left a remarkable historical wealth, present in buildings, religious celebrations, art and music.
