Estimated Costs: In addition to the program fee, students will be charged for tuition and fees as follows:
* 2016-17 in-state tuition rate for six credits is $2,844 (plus Library, Technology and Part Time Fees)
* 2016-17 out-of-state tuition rate for six credits is $3,696 (plus Library, Technology and Part Time Fees). The out of state tuition for classes associated with travel are discounted from the Fall and Spring rates.
Program Description

COURSE INFORMATION:

MATH 250 - Statistical Methods - 3 credits
CHST 240 - Special Topics in Chinese Culture/Language - 3 credits


PROGRAM INFORMATION:

Students will travel to Xiamen University and take a statistics course from a College of Charleston Mathematics faculty member and a Chinese Culture and Language course from a Xiamen University faculty member.


PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS

-Students must maintain a 2.5 GPA or higher
-Students must possess or be eligible to obtain a passport
-Students are expected to be up to date on routine vaccines, immunized against Hepatitis A and Hepatitis B, Polio and possibly Typhoid

Dr. Martin Jones, an award winning professor in the Department of Mathematics at the College of Charleston, will teach both the statics course and accompnay the group to and from Xiamen University. He directed this program in 2013.
