Estimated Costs: In addition to the program fee, students will be charged tuition for their courses.

The out of state tuition for classes associated with travel are discounted from the Fall and Spring rates.

Scholarships up to $1,500 are available to support CofC degree seeking students. Eligibility is based on demonstrated financial need, academic merit, 2 faculty recommendations and a personal statement. Program Description

COURSE INFORMATION:

MKTG/INTB 309: Marketing Study Abroad (3 credits)
HTMT 380: Managing Global Tourism (3 credits)

PROGRAM INFORMATION:

This program examines the most significant cultural, political, and economic environment in the second largest economy of China. This program exposes students to the opportunities and challenges of doing business in China for U.S. firms. Students will visit major Chinese cities such as Beijing, Shanghai, Chengdu, and Hong Kong. Students will also engage in academic activities at universities in China, as well as guided study tours to cultural and historic sites such as the Great Wall and the Forbidden City in Beijing, the Bund in Shanghai, and the world-renowned Panda Research Base in Chengdu.

Students should be able to climb mountains and sustain continuous hiking.

PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS:

-Students must have an overall GPA of 2.5
-Students must already possess a valid passport, or be able to obtain a valid passport
