Program Description

COURSE INFORMATION:

Students can take the following two courses:
CSCI 399: International Software Technology Research and Development - 3 credits
ENTR 445: Seminar in Entrepreneurship - 1 credit

COURSE INFORMATION:

Twelve students and two faculty members will study software tech entrepreneurship in Tallin and Tartu, Estonia. The content focus is the interview of tech company founders, developers and investors in Estonia, and compare the cultures and processes used to those in the US tech startup community.

Dr. Starr has been involved in developing computer science relationships at the University of Tartu, Estonia. He is the director of the International Cross-Curricular Accelerator for Technology and he is a faculty member for the NGAL (Network Globally Act Locally), a project with Nebraska Wesleyan University, the University of Tartu, and the College of Charleston. Dr. Starr has traveled extensively in northern Europe, including Estonia, and his second language is French.
